Xiomara sees beauty everywhere. Her business name truly reflects much of who she is. Imago Dei (e-mago day) means simply, "the image of God" reflecting her belief that every person is created in God's image and therefore has a unique dignity and beauty. This conviction that all are created by God pervades Xiomara's personal and business life. In her personal life she's been happily married to her High School sweetheart for 11 years. They reside on the Oregon Coast with their two children.
On a professional level, recognizing the dignity and beauty of her clients, Xiomara strives to capture that dignity and beauty with high quality portraiture while providing artistic and natural, professional service.

The name Imago Dei also bears witness to Xiomara’s strong and personal faith, a faith which sees the world, and especially people, as God’s creation and dearly loved by Him. Xiomara enjoys the beauty of creation, from the cornfields of Kansas to the mountains of Colorado, to the coastline of Oregon. She sees God’s artistry in the power of storms, the delicate petals of flowers, in the play of shadow and sun, and even in architecture, designed by those made by God. Her camera is just an extension of her eye when she creates her artistic pieces.

The splendor of God’s creation is seen especially in the joy and love expressed on special occasions. A mother in full bloom as she awaits her child, the birth of a child, the transparent love of an engaged couple, the intimacy of a wedding day and the bonds of family. These are all events in which Xiomara deeply invests herself and her talent to give her clients more than just photos!
